General conditions of sale and reservation
Prior information
These general conditions apply exclusively to any reservation of stays made on the FLORISSUM website The customer and the owners undertake to respect these general conditions of sale once the reservation is confirmed.
Length of stay
The reservation by the customer is made for a fixed period. The customer may not, under any circumstances, claim any right to an extension of stay and therefore to remain in the premises without the prior agreement of the owner.
Reservation and deposit
The price of the room includes 1 to 2 adults for ELPIDA and FENGARI, 1 to 4 adults for the EONIA suite. Breakfasts are included. A deposit of 30% of the amount of the stay is required / mandatory to confirm your reservation.
For any reservation please contact FLORISSUM directly by one of the following means: fill out the contact form on our website, send an email to florissum.belevezet@gmail.com, make a phone call or contact us via social networks (Facebook or Instagram).
Your reservation will be firm and final after payment of the deposit, corresponding to 30% of the amount including tax due for your stay. You will have the option to make the payment using your credit card (VISA, Mastercard, AMERICAN EXPRESS or DINERS) or by bank or wire transfer. For any payment made by credit card, the customer will receive a secure link (Zettle by PayPal).
Cancellation by the customer
Any cancellation must be notified by email or post with acknowledgment of receipt. In the event of cancellation up to 14 days before the scheduled arrival date, the reservation deposit will be refunded. After this period, the deposit will not be refunded. The full amount of the reservation will be due for any cancellation within 7 days before the scheduled arrival date.
If the customer does not come forward or cannot be reached within 24 hours before the start of the stay, this contract will be cancelled, and the owners will have the right to a full disposal of the rooms that had been booked. The owners also reserve the right to claim the balance of the reservation cost.
In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the cost of accommodation for the reservation period remains in full. The owner will therefore have no obligation to refund the client. Any additional services consumed will be due to the owners.
Cancellation by the owners
We reserve the right to cancel your reservation within 24 hours. If, before the start of the stay, the owner cancels the reservation, for reasons beyond his control, FLORISSUM will be required to inform the customer as quickly as possible by telephone or email. The customer will then be refunded the entire amount of the deposit paid within 7 working days
Absence of withdrawal
For reservations made by phone, by email or on the internet website, the client does not benefit from the withdrawal period, in accordance with article L121-20-4 of the consumer code relating in particular to the provision of accommodation services provided on a date or at a specified periodicity.
Arrival time
The client must arrive on the specified day of the reservation between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Arrivals before 4 p.m. may be refused, unless agreed and confirmed by the owner. In the event of a late arrival, the customer must notify the owner as soon as possible and request a prior agreement from the owner. We do not accept arrivals after 8pm, unless you have obtained a preliminary agreement with the owner, which must be confirmed by email or SMS. FLORISSUM reserves its right not to accept customers after 8 pm. This refusal cannot, under any circumstances, be considered as a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner, thus no reimbursement can be considered.
Departure time
The customer must vacate the rooms by 11 a.m. at the very latest. If the customer wishes to keep the room a bit longer and leave after 11:00 a.m., he will have to make a request to the owner, who reserves the right to refuse. If the owner agrees however to accept a later departure, the owner reserves the right to charge a supplement of €50, subject to prior agreement with the customer.
Settlement of the balance
The balance is to be paid on arrival, which will need to be made either by credit card or in cash. Extras will be payable at the end of the stay.
Limitation of the number of people / clients
This contract is strictly established for a specific and limited number of people for each reservation and for each room. The number of guests per room is limited to two persons as specified when booking, the owner will refuse any additional person. EONIA is a suite consisting of 2 bedrooms and a shower room, thus EONIA can accommodate 4 people, 2 per bedroom. A refusal to accept more than 2 persons per room cannot, under any circumstances, be considered as a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner ; consequently a refusal to accept a number of people above the capacity specified for each room, will not entitle the client to a reimbursement, in the event of a departure of the client.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
Table d’hôtes (Dining)
Meals are served occasionally at 7:30 p.m. subject to a preliminary reservation made at least 24 hours in advance.
In the low season only (between September 15th and June 15th) and on prior request (preferably at least 3 days before your arrival) Florissum offers the possibility to make a reservation for a 3 course diner, which will served in the very pleasant setting of the Orangerie. However, the “table d’hôtes” is not available every day (depending on the number of interested parties, on the workload and the desired date). In case of a reservation Pia will contact you to present a suggestion of a menu. You will find more information on our website at www.florissum.com. Meals are served at 7:30 p.m.
Children
Our property is not suitable for children, FLORISSUM is therefore reserved for adults. However, subject to submitting a request at the time of the initial booking request (and NOT after booking has been confirmed) on certain dates, it may be possible to accept one or two teenagers. To be valid any such exception will need to be confirmed in writing by email from the owners of FLORISSUM, and before any payment of the booking fee of 30% is being made.
If an exception is being made, the guests’ attention is drawn to the fact that minors are placed under the sole and entire responsibility of their parents or people having authority over them. If, on the day of arrival, the customer presents himself accompanied with a minor, without having previously informed and obtained an agreement from the owners in writing, FLORISSUM reserves its right to refuse access to the entire estate and real estate of FLORISSUM. Such refusal will not, under any circumstances, be considered as a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner. In the event of the customer’s departure, no refund will be considered.
Animals
Our animal friends are not accepted at FLORISSUM. On certain dates, an exception may be possible, subject to making a request together with the booking request, and providing that the client receives a written confirmation by email from the owner to accept a pet. If at the day of arrival, the client arrives accompanied by one or more animals (even nice and small), a refusal to accept the animal(s) cannot be assimilated to a modification or a breach of contract at the initiative of the owner. In case of a departure of the customer, no refund will be considered.
Use of premises
FLORISSUM is a non-smoking place, thus it is totally forbidden to smoke and/or vape in the rooms and all common areas as well as outside the buildings. For everyone’s comfort, any noise disturbances are strictly prohibited. Customers need to respect the peaceful character of our premises. For any telephone conversation or playing video clips in the common / shared spaces, we request that our customers use headphones or earphones (no speakers). FLORISSUM can lend earphones free of charge. No meals can be taken or served in the rooms or by the pool on the east side, where the deckchairs are located. Drinks are not authorized in or around the swimming pool, except for the spaces right outside the Orangerie (not in the areas for sunbathing where you will find deck chairs). Taking a shower is mandatory before getting in or swimming in the pool. Customers undertake to respect the instructions for good manners appearing in the rooms and in these general conditions of sale. The customer agrees to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay. The customer will have to declare and assume financially any possible degradation for which he or she could be responsible.
The Pool Area
Pool opening dates in the low season will depend on weather conditions. Our goal is to open the pool from April 1st and to maintain the pool water at a temperature above 24°. This is an ambitious and expensive objective (the pool has a capacity of around 150 m2 thus heating is expensive) which we unfortunately cannot guarantee.
The swimming pool is accessible to guests between 9.00 a.m. and 9.00 p.m. It may though be possible to swim before 9 a.m. and after 9 p.m., provided you have made a prior request the day before (certain preparations may be necessary, especially in low season). Use of the swimming pool is everyone’s responsibility. Customers acknowledge that they are entirely responsible in the event of an accident occurring to themselves, their family, their friends or their pet (in the event that an exception has been granted). In the event of an accident, no compensation can or will be claimed by the reserve holder or the clients. Guests agree to wear decent clothing by the pool (swimsuit for men). Nudism is not accepted. A shower before swimming is obligatory. No noise disturbances or noisy play are allowed in and around the pool. Florissum favours the singing of birds, nightingales and cicadas. It is our priority to make sure that our customers will fully enjoy and benefit of the tranquillity and calm at Florissum. We therefore request our customers to use headphones or earphones to listen to music, video clips, or make phone calls.
Sun lotion restrictions
Important notice: Sunscreen products containing the synthetic UV blocker AVOBENZONE, also known as Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, are not permitted at FLORISSUM. The substance leaves stains on towels and sheets that cannot be removed. It also leaves stains on the pool liner, which is very hard to remove. Damaged towels and sheets may be charged on your final invoice, if this rule is not respected. Furthermore, the mixture of chlorine and Avobenzone is not recommended for your skin. If you have been unable to find sun lotion without AVOBENZONE, please let us know upon your arrival and before getting in the pool. We thank you for your understanding.
The Orangerie
Breakfasts and meals (see “tables d’hôtes” here above) are served in the Orangery. This space is also accessible to customers to relax (board games, reading, conviviality) but it is not a workspace to be used for video conference sessions (unless prior agreement received).
Car park
FLORISSUM provides its customers with a partially shaded parking space, located on our private property. However, we ask our customers to respect the basic vigilance rules and therefore to avoid leaving luggage(s), bags, clothing or objects inside your vehicle, especially if they are visible from the vehicle’s exterior. In the event of non-compliance with these instructions, FLORISSUM cannot be held liable.
Housekeeping and maintenance
Cleaning and maintenance can be done daily by the owner, in the room or rooms that the customer occupies, thus the owners will be able to access the rooms at any time, except when customers occupy their room.
Security and Video Surveillance
For the security of our clients as well as ours (customers, guests and owners) video surveillance cameras are installed in some common / shared areas at FLORISSUM (e.g. entrance, corridors, parking, swimming pool, or other common outdoor spaces). However, there is no video surveillance in the rooms, bathrooms or any private space made available to you, such as the terrace outside your room. You will be provided with some additional information upon your arrival.
Visible information
Several information signs, compliant with the recommendations of the CNIL, are displayed in various locations, including inside and outside the main entrance (equipped with a keypad and a camera). This entrance must be used by guests for all entries and exits to the FLORISSUM property.
Video recording
Video recordings of certain secondary access points and outdoor common areas are triggered by a motion detection system, in order to document any attempted intrusion, during nighttime only (guests are informed of the operating hours).
Audio recording
Exceptionally, audio recording may be activated on a temporary basis in the event of a serious incident or repeated non- compliance with the house rules, in order to establish evidence necessary for handling a dispute. No continuous audio recording is carried out.
Retention period
Recordings are retained for a maximum period of 30 days, except in the event of legal proceedings or a dispute, in which case only the relevant extracts may be retained for the entire duration of the proceedings.
Access to recordings
Access to recordings is strictly limited to the manager/owner of the establishment and may be shared with the competent authorities if necessary (law enforcement, courts).
Legal basis
These processing activities are based on the legitimate interest of the data controller (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), namely ensuring the security of the premises and the establishment of evidence in the event of an incident or dispute.
Data subjects’ rights
In accordance with the GDPR, each customer has the right to access, rectify, and restrict the processing of their personal data. Any request may be sent to the data controller email to the following address: gael.townsend@gmail.com or by registered post with acknowledgment of receipt.
Computing and Freedom
In accordance with article 27 of the law “Informatique et Libertés” of January 6, 1978, the information fields that you fill in on our website are necessary for the registration and processing of your requests. We undertake not to transmit them to third parties.
Modifications of the general conditions
These general conditions of sale are subject to change at any time without notice. Acceptance and compliance with these general conditions of sale will be deemed acquired following receipt of a reservation request and/or upon receipt of payment of the deposit for a reservation.
